Crispy Hot Honey Salmon Bites
- 2 tbsp of your favorite seasoning salt
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of thyme
- 1 tsp of oregano
- 2 tsp of paprika
- 2 pounds (900 grams) of fresh salmon
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- Optional lemon juice and dill
Simple Chipotle Sauce:
- ½ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 Chipotle Peppers (canned)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Juice of lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare your salmon by cutting the filet into 1x1 cubes
2. Add your seasonings into a large container and combine. Now add your salmon to the container and shake well until evenly combined.
3. Crack an egg into a bowl and whisk. In a large bowl add the pank crumbs. Now egg-wash each piece of salmon and subsequently place each cube into the panko mixture and flip around until covered.
4. Place in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes at 375F. Flip the salmon halfway through. If using the oven, bake at 420F for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. When done, add the salmon to a large bowl and drizzle the honey on top. Shake to combine.
