 Creamy Classic Mac Recipe 🧀

⬇️ Recipe below ⬇️

Ingredients

 3 tablespoons butter
 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
 1/2 teaspoon salt
 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups milk, any kind
 3/4 cup half-and-half cream
2 1/2 cups shredded sharp old-age cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Boil your pasta water, add a couple teaspoons of salt, and cook the elbow macaroni until al dente then set aside.
2. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, then add the flour incrementally and stir constantly with a wooden spoon for 3-5 minutes until you have a light roux that has puffed lightly. There should be no more lumps.
3. Slowly add your milk and cream to the roux, stirring constantly.
4. Once the milk is combined with the roux, you should start adding your cheddar cheese, bit by bit.
5. Once the cheese is fully melted and you have a nice gooey sauce, stir in your cooked pasta.
6. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed and the sauce makes that pleasantly unpleasant sound heard in the reel.
7. Optionally top with parsley and then devour the goodness!
